The sun beat down upon Whitesand city with a lazy heat that was neither oppressive or unwelcome. A sweet and salty breeze wound its way through the streets from the shore and at the corner shop where Tai and the rest of the TGT made base, life was hopping. Today was a repair day. A day to update, upgrade, repair, and revitalize the bikes in which they made their lives around. The sounds of the shop rang out to the surrounding area.
Tai was working on three particular bike that day. His own personal one and two recently acquired ones. He had not decided what to do with them but he was sure going to make them look nice at first. He and Erio moved back and forth between each setup, a steady beat of metal and feet. around him his gang fell in subconsciously, making melody from work, and even a few began to beat box and somewhere in the back their more ingenious crew members began to rap as they worked.
Pokemon from the gang milled about, many helping but as the fun music began to rise many started to dance and play. Erio was the first of many to try and show off his break dancing skills.

Cammie fanned herself incessantly as she walked through the heat, trying to find some sort of shade from the blistering sun. Some people were lucky enough to tan in the summer, but Cammie turned red as a Krabby if she spent any time at all in the sun. She didn't normally walk through this part of town, but she was wanting to get a good last look at Whitesand City before she left, including the parts she didn't normally frequent. Russell followed right behind her, much less bothered by the beating sun than his fair-skinned trainer.
She slowed as she passed by a shop on a street corner. It was a cacophany of... No, it wasn't just noise. If she listened closer, there was a certain rhythm to it. Intrigued, Cammie walked over toward the place where several people were repairing bikes, but that wasn't what caught her eye. All manner of Pokemon were dancing and romping around to the beat. In particular, a break dancing Charmander caught her eye. She couldn't blame all of them; the beat was irresistible. Maybe these people weren't professional musicians like she had grown up around, but music was for dancing to, not picking apart.
Cammie cracked her knuckles and decided to try joining in. Her dress would probably self-destruct from break dancing, but she could still groove to the beat. Shaking her hips and stepping lightly, she tried out several dance moves, constant glancing around the crowded area to make sure didn't trip over anything. Rather than joining in, Russell decided to sprawl out on the floor and watch. Cammie was hoping to draw a little attention from someone beside him, from the dancing Pokemon if no one else.

As the gang worked and played and their pokemon danced it wasn't long before some of the guys took notice of the girl that had decided to join them in their fun. The boys hooted and whistled, making off colored comments but not really meaning much of anything. They sounded rough and lewd but most of the tribe were more laid back when it wasn't time for business and they tried not to bother people to keep the fuzz off their back.
Erio was intrigued by the newcomer and meandered over to her in a funny hopping step to the beat. He poked the lazy Bulbasaur first for good measure and then returned his gaze to the dancing doll. As she tapped and swayed Erio tried to mimic her movements. He was pretty nimble for a squirt and he was able to do a lot of what she did, or at least make it look like it. Fearing his friend might cause trouble, which was normal for him , Tai stood up and started to make his way towards the charmander.
Erio had taken notice of Cammie's tighter dancing outfit and was curious. None of the women here wore anything like it. He wondered what would happen if he tugged on it really hard. He started to reach up towards her skirt... "Eriochalcite you behave yourself or so help me I'll dip you in beeswax and make you burn through it as punishment." Tai was standing behind the charmander now with his arms crossed, a wrench in his hands.

Cammie halfway ignored the men's calls. She'd gotten calls like that on stage before, and they tore her between appreciating being acknowledged and insulted for how some men did it. But she couldn't pay mind to them and concentrate on dancing, too. She kept going, faster and faster, getting carried away with making the best of what little space she had.
The man's words to the Charmander pulled her out of her little spell, and she looked down to see the Charmander reaching for her skirt. Showing off her dancing skills was well and good, but that could show off a lot more than she intended. Stopping the dance, she held her skirt down with both hands, looked down at the Charmander, then up at the young man who had scolded him. "Thanks," Cammie said to the stranger. "That's a mischievous little Charmander you have there. Russell can be nearly as bad sometimes..." Cammie glanced over her shoulder to make Russell wasn't messing with anything, but Cammie facing down another Pokemon had made the Bulbasaur decide that the time for resting was over. He stood right at her side, not actively aggressive but ready to do whatever he needed to do.

Erio gave Tai an exasperated look and put his hands down in defeat. Thwarted, he turned his attention elsewhere and went running off around the work yard acting likehe was full grown and evolved or something, stomping on rags and kicking over buckets or tool boxes. It didn't take too long before he had a few of the tribe members pokemon, and one of their kids (some parents start young) chasing him around. Most of the members ignored him. This was pretty standard fare for them since Tai had joined up. It was a pain sometimes to be sure, but Erio and Tai had proven their worth and they were well loved.
Tai wipped his hands off on a grease rag and extended one to Cammie. "Sorry about Erio... little blighter is too curious and mischievous for his own good. He's a good sport though. Nice moves you have going for you there... a lot more fancy than any of us. Not that we mind. Entertainment is entertainment, but if you don't mind me asking, what is a gal like you doing down here in the slums. Not that we would allow anything to happen to you in our territory, but this part or Whitesand isn't always the safest place to be."
"Whatch out Firecracker!" Came voice from behind him. As he spun around he raised a brow as he saw what came into view. Erio had ramobo-ed himself up, using oil as eyeblack and a rag as a bandana. He had a tied bundle of sparklers in his mouth, all lit, to mimic a cigar, and he was carrying seven of Tai's rapid fire roman candles. "Oh this is funny... I would move... I think he's challenging your Bulbasaur... sort of...." Tai Moved off to the side quickly as Erio ignited all seven candles and aimed them at Russel, so he was engulfed in a rain of colorful fireballs and tiny colorful explosions.
