So someone really was watching her. That was nice to hear. Cammie knew that people did, but dancers just didn't get recognition. It wasn't the dancer's name on the marquee outside. It wasn't the dancer that people came from all over to see. Despite all that, it was nice to know that Lynette was someone who appreciated the hard work that went into it. Most people didn't give it a second thought. It perplexed Cammie why someone with such musical talent wouldn't want to make music for a living, but she could understand all too well someone wanting to make it on her own.
"Don't mention it!" Cammie smiled at Lynette, tilting her head to the side a little. "The music was amazing, and you're a lot of fun to talk to. I hope we run into each other again soon. I can tell me and Russell are going to be up for a real challenge next time we meet." She wasn't just blowing smoke at Lynette - Fredrick was obviously devoted to her, and any Pokemon that close to its trainer fought a lot harder. Cammie's eyes fell to Russell, who was just starting to get comfortable, but given his talent for resting anywhere Cammie didn't exactly feel guilty for disturbing him. Cammie twirled around toward the door, gave a little flourish at the end. "Come on, Russell, we still have a lot to do before we leave town. Until next time, Lynette!" She gave her new-found friend one last wave over the shoulder as she headed for the door.

I'm a lot of fun to talk to? Lynette though to herself as she blushed and looked as if she had no idea how to take the compliment from Cammie. When she proposed the challenge, Lynette just nodded in her awkward way while Fredrick just pumped his chest out and grinned. Lynette just looked at Cammie "Yeah...that sounds great...I'd like that.." she said as Cammie began to leave the room.
When Cammie left, Lynette took a a deep breath and collapsed onto the piano bench as Fredrick nuzzled her leg. She pat the tiny turtle on the head and looked up at the ceiling, contemplatively. "Fredrick...why is dealing with people so hard? She's a nice girl and I want to be friends with her...but...at the same time, I don't want to be troubled with it. Why can't life just be simple and easy?" she questioned. Fredrick tugged at her sock again and pointed to his mouth, being greeted with a smile from his master. "Oh alright, let's go get you something to eat" she said as she picked herself up and left the practice room, locking the door behind her and heading out to leave the recital building.
